Snowy Mountains Canvas

Snowy Mountains is a piece I started and finished at arguably one of the hardest points in my life, there had just been several family deaths one after the other and my service dog, and best furry friend of 8 years was dying, I felt like I was losing everything and everyone all at once. I was asking God for peace, for comfort. Not too long after asking God for help He took me to a place that He knew I would like, where the world falls still and quiet, slower with more overall peace. The comforting smell of pine trees, it was exactly what I needed at the time, and it was exactly the piece of art I needed to work on to help me work through one of the most difficult parts of my life. While I was painting this piece God reminded me how He is the peace in the storm, the peace in the chaos. No matter where you are or what you're going through that God will never leave your side.
